Frequently asked questions
- Does the app tell me what is causing my symptoms?
- No. The trigger comparison simply shows the average severity of a symptom on entries where you noted a trigger versus entries where you did not, once there are a few of each. It is a pattern to discuss with your doctor, not a diagnosis.
- What goes into the doctor summary?
- For the last 90 days: each symptom with how often it was logged, average and worst severity, the triggers you noted most, any with-and-without patterns, the medications you logged, and your worst entries. It ends with a note that it is self-reported. You choose where to send it.
- Can I log symptoms that are not in the suggestions?
- Yes. Type any name; it becomes a suggestion the next time.
- What is free and what is Pro?
- Free includes unlimited logging, suggestions, the medications log, 7- and 30-day charts, the daily check-in and the last 30 days of history. Pro adds your full history, the 90-day range, the with-and-without trigger comparisons, and the doctor summary and CSV exports. Pro is a weekly subscription with a free trial, or an annual subscription, billed by the App Store or Google Play.
- I bought Pro but it is locked on my new phone. How do I restore it?
- Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you used to buy it, then go to Settings, open the Pro screen and tap "Restore purchases". Subscriptions are managed in your App Store or Google Play account settings, not inside the app.
- Is my data backed up? Can I move it to a new phone?
- Your data is stored only on your phone (see the privacy policy). Your phone's own iCloud or Google backup may include it. Before switching phones, export your data from Settings and keep the file somewhere safe; we are working on import for a future version.
