Bill Reminder support
Frequently asked questions
- Does the app connect to my bank?
- No, and it never will. You enter bills yourself, which means there is nothing to link and no financial login that could leak.
- What happens when I mark a bill paid?
- The app records a payment and moves the bill to its next due date. If you pay late, it still only moves forward one period, so a skipped month shows as overdue. Tap Undo, or delete the payment from the bill's history, to roll it back.
- How do I add the widget?
- On iPhone, touch and hold the home screen, tap the + button and search for Bills. On Android, touch and hold the home screen, choose Widgets and find Bills, or use "Add widget" in the app's Settings.
- How does monthly billing handle the 31st?
- A bill due on the 31st falls on the last day of shorter months (for example 28 February) and goes back to the 31st when the month allows it.
- What is free and what is Pro?
- Free includes up to 5 bills, reminders, the widget and JSON export. Pro adds unlimited bills, categories, month totals, payment history and CSV export. Pro is a weekly subscription with a free trial, or an annual subscription, billed by the App Store or Google Play.
- I bought Pro but it is locked on my new phone. How do I restore it?
- Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you used to buy it, then go to Settings, open the Pro screen and tap "Restore purchases". Subscriptions are managed in your App Store or Google Play account settings, not inside the app.
- Is my data backed up? Can I move it to a new phone?
- Your data is stored only on your phone (see the privacy policy). Your phone's own iCloud or Google backup may include it. Before switching phones, export your data from Settings and keep the file somewhere safe; we are working on import for a future version.
